Biography:

Jiri Sedlak studied at the Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno, the Czech Republic and graduated as MSc in 1996. He received Ph.D. at the Czech University of Life Sciences in 2007 (postgraduate study). Since 1998, he has worked as a scientific worker in the Department of Fruit Genebank. Currently, he specializes in biotechnology, plant tissue cultures, and cryopreservation. He has published more than 50 scientific and research articles in the past ten years.
