Biography:
Dr. Elena Anufriieva is a Head of the Laboratory of extreme ecosystems, A.O. Kovalevsky Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She possesses a broad range of research experience in various aquatic environments. Her scholarly pursuits encompass the ecology of ecosystems and populations of different organism groups, particularly focusing on production studies. Additionally, she dedicates significant attention to the evaluation and utilization of biological resources, alongside aquaculture. She is the author/co-author of more than 100 articles and books in Russian and English.
