Biography:
I am a Bangladeshi by birth having a Ph.D. in Agronomy, served in the Soil Resource Development Institute (SRDI) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of Bangladesh for 33 years carried out detailed and semi-detailed soil surveys covering different physiographic units having 3 different geological formations. Prepared technical reports, maps, customized reports for agricultural extension workers and farmers as well. Carried out several research projects under the auspices of BARC in agroecological stressed areas. I am the founder board member and editor of BiNet journal and reviewer of a number of reputed online journal. I have published 21 scientific papers at home and abroad. Attended an international seminar in Australia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. I am a life member of scientific and professional bodies in Bangladesh. Like to update knowledge on natural resources and climate change issues. Presently I am one of the members of editorial board responsible for publishing Soil Atlas Asian under Global Soil Partnership, FAO from Bangladesh.
