Biography:
Dr Moumita Gangopadhyay has been working with plant secondary metabolism of pharmaceutical interest for more than 15 years. Dr Gangopadhyay did her MSc in Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding) from University of Calcutta followed M Tech in Biotechnology from Jadavpur University, India. After clearing National Eligibility Test (NET), she joined Bose Institute for her Doctoral studies and she has awarded PhD IN Science 2009. Thereafter she has 35 years Post Doctoral Research in India, Europe and Australia. She was awarded several prestigious fellowships from ICAR, CSIR, DAE (India); DAAD (Germany) and Endeavour (Australia). She has published more than 33 papers in peer-reviewed journals with Cumulative Impact Factor:150; Citations 1739; H Index – 18; i10 index- 22: Google Scholar. This research team already has established system for Hydroponics and Aeroponics and got publications [Gangopadhyay et al, 2021. Industrial Crops and Products. Vol 172; Journal of Survey in Fisheries Sciences.”10(1S) 7004-7007, 2023] and filed one Patent in this research arena.
