Abstract:

With the crisis and the increase of agricultural pests, there was a need for evolution in the correct management of insects in large crops (YAMAMOTO, WOLNEY, 2014). As there are several biological control methods for Lipaphis ersimi, and their low effectiveness, inefficiencies and poor quality of insecticides in obtaining results, the search for other compatible methods has made biological control the main search for improvements in combating agricultural pests (PRIA JUNIOR, ROBERTO, YAMAMOTO, 2014). According to Bueno, 2011, biological control foresees the use of natural inputs as toxicological agents against enemies existing in organic agriculture. In this way, the use of botanical insecticides 0preserving the environment, through ecological pest management (MEP) and agroecological pest management (MAP) methods (PICANÇO, 2010). Substances capable of reacting in defense of ifer plants are found in several plant species. The essential ifere intended to have the power of repellency, causing the instant death of pests (MENEZES, 2005). Studies performed by Kim et al. (2003) report the ability of iferent and biological substances found in oils to bind to the lipid layer of the insect, making the product easily penetrate the insect’s integument, leading to death. For the UN National Plan for Food and Nutritional Security of 2021, “the impacts were serious due to the arrival of the pandemic that devastates the world. The high rate of malnourished children has increased by 21% of the population since 2020. For an improvement in the feeding the population, there must be a decrease in food costs in the market ifere increase in the variety of pesticide-free foods”. This research was carried out at the Federal University of Acre – Campus Floresta, in Cruzeiro do Sul, in partnership with Mrs. Maria Lindamir Negreiros de Almeida, owner of Horta Orgânica, located in the Aeroporto Velho neighborhood; Rua: Padre Alfredo Leite, n° 131. In this study together with the collaboration of Prof. Karlla Godoy, responsible for the Entomology Laboratory at UFAC, ifer, through this, we will be able to assess the viability of iferente vegetable oils as a natural insecticide on cabbage aphids. So then, we can verify in various percentages the effectiveness of oils in organic agriculture. Keywords: Insecticide, analysis, pests
