Biography:
Ngwinui Marie-Noel Manjong is a third-year student of Biotechnology and Food Process Engineering at the National Higher Polytechnic Institute (NAHPI), University of Bamenda. Her academic focus lies at the intersection of plant science and industrial food applications, with a specific interest in how biotechnological tools can be used to optimize underutilized tropical crops. She has conducted preliminary research on the cultivation of Jackfruit as a climate-resilient solution to food insecurity in Sub-Saharan Africa. She aims to bridge the gap between agricultural production and value-added food processing to create sustainable, local food systems.
