Biography:
Miss Lee Ping Ang embarked on her academic journey in the field of biology, earning her Bachelor's degree in Conservation Biology from the University Malaysia Sabah. Fueled by a passion for plant sciences, she pursued a Master's degree in Botany at East China Normal University. Her commitment to advancing her knowledge led her to the University of Goettingen, where she now pursues her Ph.D. in Systematics Botany. As a Ph.D. candidate, her research focused on the evolution of polyploidy and apomixes in the pantropically distributed and species-rich genus Zanthoxylum.
