Biography:
Matskiv Alexandra Olegovna, studied biology at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, was involved in the introduction of small-bulbous plants of the Sochi Black Sea region into in vitro culture, received a specialist diploma in 2012. In 2019, she joined the research group of Samarina Lidia Sergeevna (Federal Research Center of the Subtropical Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russia, Sochi), studying the patterns and mechanisms of resistance formation in splitting populations of tea (Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze) . A search was carried out for genes affecting frost resistance in the collection of Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze tea varieties from the Krasnodar region. She has published more than 20 research articles. Currently working on optimizing the rooting process of representatives of the genus Actinidia.
